A classic home on a private, motor-free lake
Ten minutes from the lifts, steps from the trails
A quiet lakefront escape and a four-season sports lodge at Mount Snow, both cared for by Superhost Marcie.

Some lakes have jet skis. This one has a blue heron. The house sits right on a quiet, motor-free private lake where the entertainment is sunrise over the water, eagles overhead, and the kind of fishing people drive hours for.
Inside it is all hardwood floors and granite counters, with brand-new Italian leather furniture, a full kitchen built for real cooking, and a jet tub waiting at the end of the day. Kayaks and the dock are yours to use, the firepit is ready at dusk, and when winter comes the lake trades kayaks for ice fishing and cross-country skis.
Minutes from UConn, Manchester, and Hebron, and an easy drive from Hartford, it works as well for a game-day weekend as it does for a week of doing absolutely nothing.
Motor boats are not allowed here. Expect still water, loons and herons, and world-class fishing off the dock.
Paddle out after breakfast, weather permitting. The new dock is the best seat in the house for sunset.
A large master bathroom with a jetted tub, plus a spacious primary suite with a desk and a lake view to work beside.
Double oven, gas range, quiet dishwasher, rice cooker, crock pot. Bring groceries, not takeout menus.
A firepit and chimenea by the water, patio dining, and moonrises guests write home about.
Summer swims and paddles become ice fishing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing when the lake freezes over.

This is the basecamp Vermont weekends are built around. A brand-new lodge within walking distance of the Mount Snow Golf Course, sitting right on the mountain-bike trails, with a bike park and disc golf about fifty yards from the front door and the ski lifts a short ten-minute drive away.
Come back from the mountain to heated tile floors, a jet and whirlpool tub, a big walk-in shower with a bench, and a 65-inch TV under a whitewashed cathedral ceiling. There is a game room for the kids, a coffee bar for the morning, a washer for your gear, and parking for four vehicles including the trailer you towed the sleds up on.
Winter is skiing and snowmobile country, summer is golf, hiking, and lift-served mountain biking, and the restaurants and groceries of the Mount Snow Valley are minutes away in every season.

A short drive to the lifts. Guests report door-to-mountain runs as quick as eight minutes.

"Marcie is a wonderful hostess. My husband and I have stayed at this location a number of times. The home is very clean. The kitchen has everything that you might need. The view of the lake from the living room and the upstairs bedroom is fantastic. It is wonderful to watch the sunrise over the lake."
"Absolutely amazing bnb! Cant say enough good things about it. From Jeff and Marcie who are super hosts to the amazing lake property. Truly a 10 star experience. If you are looking to stay anywhere in mid ct this is by far the best spot around hands down!"
"The views were simply unbelievable. The house was both clean and comfortable and there was a lot of detail to little things like making sure there were dishwasher pods and olive oil and salt available. We could not have been happier and wish we could have stayed longer."
"We had a truly lovely stay at Marcie's place. We traveled with our infant son during a wild heat wave, and Marcie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Communication was fantastic. The house is in a quiet, peaceful location and was super clean and comfortable."
"Location is perfect. Easy access to all the restaurants, groceries, gas station, etc. Most importantly took 8 minutes to get to the grand summit at Mount Snow. The home has a beautiful and convenient layout. Marcie was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed."
"Such an amazing stay! if you want somewhere private and quiet, this is the place to be. the restaurants and bars around the area are very good also. will definitely be back!"

Ten little minutes to first chair, and the neon in the window says the rest.
Eight years of hosting shows up in the details guests keep mentioning in reviews: the dishwasher pods already in the drawer, the olive oil and salt in the pantry, the toddler essentials waiting when a family flies in light, the bedding swapped to suit the kids staying that week.
